Ramadan Recipe: Simple and Easy Hummus

Simple and Easy Hummus recipe

Ingredients:

200g canned chickpeas
Juice of 1 lemon
1 garlic cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt to taste
2 table spoon tahini
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
4 tbsp water

  1.  wash and drain the chickpea i don’t like the taste of the water but i know some people use the water in the hummus
  2. blend all your ingredients together in a blender for a smooth consistancy you can use a food processor but that will leave it quite lumpy
  3. done

for a spicy kick to your hummus why not try it with wasabi or Siracha

divide the hummus in 3 equal portion

in 1 portion add 1/2 tea spoon of wasabi and blend

in another portion add 1 table spoon siracha and blend
